American Teenagers are not Interested in Blogging – Reports

Submitted by Jijo Sunny on February 9, 2010 – 9:11 pm3 Comments

Last Surveys Shows that American Teenagers are loosing their Interest towards Blogging. Survey conducted on Teens Between 12-17 figured out this Amazing report. In 2006,  14% of Teens where interested in blogging.. as years passed.. Half of that Guys are interested in Blogging :(

Easy and Simple Updates using Social Networking Sites (like Twitter, Facebook etc..) are more attractive for them spend time online. Another funny factor is that People above 30 Years old are much interested in Blogging :)

While 7% People used blogs in 2007, 11% where bloggers in 2009. Anyway, Total number of Teen Bloggers are still 10%
This survey shows that Youngsters are not much Interested in Blogging. After all, they just wanna get into blogging in less time. Tweeting, Facebook updating etc are some of the options they found out to express their thoughts in seconds.

Don’t feel happy that Teenagers are at least Interested in Microblogging.. THEY ARE NOT!
The Survey also tells us that Young ones are losing their Interest in Microblogging these days.. In most of the teens spending time Online, Only less are spending time Tweeting.

Nowadays, a big part of Bloggers are just blogging to share their Personal thoughts to posts about Marriages, Travel Experiences, Stories, Poems etc.. Still they are not aware about the Real Definition of Blogging?
Oops! So… is this the time to Fear about ‘Blog Extiction?’ Well.. Nope. There are still Millions of True Bloggers (Like me :) ) who can’t just leave without Blogging.
